Your privacy is important to us. What information does Projection Point gather?

When required by national or international law, the records of this research may be reviewed by government agencies, but otherwise the data will only be accessible by named investigators of ProjectionPoint.com. No data will be disclosed to the general public. All data is anonymized prior to research analysis.

General User Information

Projection Point may collect general user information (such as your IP address or your browser type) as you browse projectionpoint.com. If collected, this data is solely used for the purpose of determining and analyzing overall user statistics, the effectiveness of our Site and/or to help us identify ways to improve the general image and portrayal of Projection Point. No personally identifiable data is collected automatically.

Accessing your Personal Data

You are entitled to know whether we hold information about you and, if we do, to have access to that information and require it to be corrected if it is inaccurate. Purpose of Use

Projection Point was established to further research on risk intelligence. All work carried out is purely non-profit. All personally identifiable data collected is solely used for the purpose of research. General User Information is solely used for the purpose of determining and analyzing overall user statistics, the effectiveness of our Site and/or to help us identify ways to improve the general image and portrayal of Projection Point.

Purpose Limitation and Ethical Approval

Projection Point aims to conduct all research in a professional and independent manner that is consistent with public interest. Under no circumstances will Projection Point sell personally identifiable information to any third party.

Both founders of Projection Point were/are affiliated with University College Cork (Ireland). Projection Point is an independent organisation which is in no way affiliated with University College Cork (Ireland). All research is performed in an independent manner. University College Cork's ethical approval of the research carried out by Projection Point can be downloaded here.

"Cookies" - Information Stored Automatically on Your Computer

Projection Point may store some data on your computer in the form of a "cookie". Cookies can help us in many ways, for example, by allowing us to implement a private members area and help us identify whether or not you are a registered Projection Point user.
